(Let’s just say that it’s been a while) To me, it’s been just as difficult as finding the perfect pair of black pumps. Exhausting. No color seemed to be exactly what I wanted. Not bright enough, too much shimmer, too much coral, doesn’t look like it would glow in the dark, not fabulous enough, and, most importantly, wasn’t obnoxious enough. Finally I discover this lil’ gem, Sinful Colors #920 (I’m guessing that’s the color name?). It fit the profile, therefore I bought it. </p> <p>Besides being the color I wanted, it’s awful. It literally took me seven… SEVEN coats to get the color to match the way it looks in the bottle. It applies a very streaky/watery/thin layer that has such a matte finish it looked as if I used spray paint on my nails. However, if you’re patient and can spare an hour and a half of your majestical daily life to sit and paint your nails… you’ll get your desired results. </p> <p>With Seche Vite top coat, the finish is much better. I realize now that this picture doesn’t do it justice nor does it translate well via camera. However, a co-worker told me my nail color was “distracting.” My response? “Good. It took me almost two hours to achieve.” </p> <p>Aside from being the color I wanted, this nail polish isn’t worth the time. I’ve never purchased this brand before, and I probably won’t do it again. So I am still on the hunt for the perfect neon pink polish that wont take up a majority of my night… Thank goodness for Gossip Girl being on Netflix. </p> <p>I always try to find a cheap nail polish that is a dupe for higher end ones… this isn’t one of them. I just felt the need to vent. My apologies for being all over the place with this blog post. </p> <p>*Side note: Essie Luxeffects “Shine of the Times” looks pretty fabulous over it. A shaving cream for my skin!</p> <p>eos Shave Cream is heaven in a bottle for those of us with sensitive and irritated skin on our legs. Hence the name of this one, “Vanilla Bliss.” Bliss… understatement!</p> <p>Vanilla Bliss Shave Cream is ultra moisturizing, paraben-free, with natural aloe and shea butter. You can shave wet or dry and it comes out in a lotion form, which is my favorite kind. To top it all off, it comes with a pump… how cool is that? I purchased mine at Target which is the only place I have seen it. It runs for $3.49 for 7 fl oz and is worth every penny.</p> <p>I have tried about every shave gel/cream/lotion out there and by far this is my favorite one. Skintimate Moisturizing Shave Cream is what I had been using, which was okay, but the packaging was annoying and it would leak everywhere if you didn’t get it closed all the way, resulting in wasted product. </p> <p>The eos shave cream is SO moisturizing! I usually would get a stinging feeling after shaving a leg and placing it back into the stream of the shower… but not anymore. My legs have been thanking me for soothing and smoothing them up. Simple as that. It is a deeper, purpley/plum version of Orgasm with the golden undertone. Since I have fair skin, I use it more as a contouring blush. Basically only using it on the backs of my cheeks. Still… it is gorgeous. However, it is pricey. But I knew what I was getting myself into. </p> <p>Therefore, Orgasm and Sin are my two favorite blushes at the moment. Therefore, I bought it (longer shelf life). It doesn’t contain any produce, yet it is full of deep cleansing peppermint and china clay, soothing honey and scrubby aduki beans… whatever those are. Must mean legit, I guess.</p> <p>It has a cooling sensation as you leave it on (roughly five minutes, give or take). You can really feel the coolness as you walk around… which is why I like to do wind sprints as I wear it, much more intense. </p> <p>After it dries/hardens, you rinse off your face by scrubbing/exfoliating it. My face likes to be exfoliated, so I prefer this mask… it also makes your face smell like peppermint… which I hear Aaron Samuels from “Mean Girls” is a fan of. You know, starts off purple, then, as you rub it into your skin it disappears…assuring you you applied it properly… quite similar. Dark Angels is obviously… well, a black/charcoal face scrub/cleanser. So it basically shows you if you have properly washed your mean mug. Nice. It is available through Sephora!</p> <p>I received this as a gift for my birthday and I truly love it. I tend to be lazy when it comes to buying eyeshadow, so I tend to just purchase palettes. This palette includes “Blackout,” which is also in the Naked 2 palette. I didn’t not purchase the Naked 2 palette because it was so similar to the original Naked palette… didn’t see a need. I desperately long for a neutral palette with more matte finishes. </p> <p>Although I already have this product in my possession, I was still excited to see it pop up again. You should buy it. I know it is $55… but, UD makes the best eyeshadow in my opinion… and it is way cheaper than building your own since they’ve raised the prices of their shadows.
